Christchurch special assembly

 Hello Bloggers.  We had a special assembly on Monday the 18th of March. We sang 2 songs then we went out side for one minutes of silence around a kowhai tree. We planted it near the friendship bench. And a lot of the schools were in lock down for 4 hours. We wrote cards to the mosque, hospital and others. We had to write to 2 of the people who helped the  people, like the hospital who helped the injured people. I chose the school and Mosque. We sang the National Anthem and Aotearoa to pray to the loved ones who died. We also went on this site called give a little and it is a site where you can donate money to the families and to the people who died. We practised Lock downs just in case it actually happens. We also had 2 minutes of silence and listened to the muslim prayers on family fun day. Here is some photos.

What happened in Christchurch has made me feel sad because the people who died didn't deserve to die like that.

Hello my Blog friends and today is another Summer learning Journey. This time it is if you had 3 super powers what would it be Not to feel pain because if you don't feel pain you won't be able to feel pain if you get hurt and thats a good thing because I usually trip and hurt my self a lot so maybe that's a good thing for me. My next power is good combo because I chose invincibility because if you can't feel pain and you are impossible to kill then you are so powerful that you could rule the world with that kind of power. Opening of the Playground

Hi viewers, On the 26th of July there was a new playground in Waikowhai Primary School. In the past  holidays the new playground was getting built - the new and improved playground. On the opening day everyone was very excited. We had to do the Haka on the day. It was very windy. We had a member of the board of trustees. His name was Mr Craig. He gave a speech before he cut the ribbon then after he got some fancy scissors from Mrs Rai.then the seniors had to take peer up with one Juniors and they get a turn to play.some classes got to play one holes slot but some the next day.My favorite bit was the flingshot (it's like a flying fox)  just in case you don't know.

Summer Learning Journy

Hi bloggers there was a challenge on the summer learning let me explain what the summer learning journey is it is where in the holidays and 1 week before the holidays you do activity's today was if you where on a island for 3 weeks with NaiNoa is a person who is a master at sailing the sea's. if I was on a island with 3 weeks and only food i would bring watermelon,strawberry's, coconuts and apple's. water melon because it is big and you can save it for later. Strawberry's because there are a lot in a pound so maybe bring a couple pounds of strawberry's. I brought coconut's because it has a lot of juice and food so that is a good thing. apple's because they are healthy and they are juicy and it would survive more. Thank you for reading my blog!
